ePerolehan SMS Services

To ensure government sector delivery efficiency that meets society’s expectations, the Ministry of Finance, with Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd introduced the SMS feature in ePerolehan in order to provide better services to suppliers. This facility is offered through the government SMS gateway to complement other service offerings such as the e-mail and portal, as a move towards total customer satisfaction.

There are two (2) types of SMS notification available:

  • Automatic SMS delivery
  • SMS delivery through request (Document on Demand – DOD, and Information on Demand - IOD)
 

Automatic SMS notification

Automatic SMS delivery to suppliers is free of charge. The message alerts suppliers on action required on their part involving purchase transactions with the government.

Suppliers need only to register their mobile phone numbers with ePerolehan to avail themselves of this facility.

There are seven (7) SMS notifications sent to suppliers:

SMS Delivery through Request for Information

Apart from automatic SMS to suppliers, the Ministry of Finance has also partnered Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd to introduce another form of SMS centred on request for information.

The categories under this facility include:

Suppliers may request for documents through SMS as shown below:

Documents will be sent to suppliers as attached files via e-mail.
