Digital Certificate Application Requirements

Rules on Digital Certificate Application

Effective from 1 November 2007, the Ministry of Finance has stipulated that all suppliers transacting business with the Malaysian Government must acquire at least one digital certificate for ePerolehan system access.

This digital certificate functions as a key to safe and secure navigation of business transactions on ePerolehan.

To acquire a digital certificate, the following terms and conditions apply:-

1 Applications for digital certificate can be made online via www.eperolehan.gov.my.
2 Suppliers are required to register either a basic or a Ministry of Finance account.
3 A company must possess at least one digital certificate to conduct business under the scope of Ministry or Central Contracts, Direct Purchase, Quotation or Tenders.
4 Digital certificate users must consist of users whose data has been keyed in during registration of either the basic OR Ministry of Finance accounts.
5 Applications for new users in the company shall be submitted by the supplier administrator.
6 Applicants must have a valid and functioning e-mail account for confirmation of application and activation of digital certificate.
7 Supporting documents are necessary to confirm application. Such documents can be scanned and uploaded during application OR sent to the nearest ePerolehan Centre.
8 Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd will process all applications upon receipt of complete supporting documents.
